Dr. Wicklund was raised in Middleton, WI, and graduated from Middleton High School in 1998. He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse and a Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry (Memphis, TN) in 2006. Dr. Wicklund is a current member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He is also a member of the Lakeshore Optometric Society. Dr. Wicklund has extensive training in fitting of prescription glasses and contact lenses, and he is certified in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease including macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma. He also co-manages LASIK/PRK and cataract surgeries. Dr. Wicklund is married and has three young girls, and they reside in Kohler. When he is not in the office, he enjoys running, biking, swimming, doing yard work, and playing with his three young daughters.
