| Canon DGI: This is the most technologically advanced retinal photography. Dr Roberts and Dr Wicklund are able to view the retina and optic nerve with this 6.3 megapixel camera. This camera is used for many things, mostly to help with the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. GDX: This instrument gives a detailed view of the retina. The Doctor reads this view and is able to diagnosis and treat glaucoma sooner OCT: This specialized test is an early detection tool for glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye diseases. It takes scans of your optic nerve and macula which helps with treatment and diagnosing many eye diseases. |
